Shepherd-Leaders Training

Please pray for the development of CCC's leadership as we gather together and with God twice a month to pray, study, and plan. Some of the resources we are using this year include...

So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. 1Peter 5:1-4

Gospel Communities

Each week on WEDNESDAYS from 6-8:30 PM our people gather in one of two homes for a meal, prayer, a study in the Bible, and just to enjoy each other's company in what we call "Gospel Communities." Once a month these home-based neighborhood fellowships reach out to the city by doing things like picnicking in a neighborhood park, having a bbq with neighbors, or seeking a practical way to serve and love our city well together. All are welcome. If you would like to drop in for one of these informal gatherings please call Jonathan at (313) 720-3031 for locations.
