Plant MidWest

Plant MidWest is a quarterly mini-conference for churches & church-plants for prayer, learning, and networking together.

Throughout history, there has never been a great move of God without united, persistent, kingdom centered prayer.  In the fast paced world of church planting, communion with God is often the first thing to go when demands on our schedule increase. But without prayer, we should never expect to see a great move of God in our city and world.  Prayer is dependence upon God.  It is trusting that he is the only one who can save our neighbors. Through prayer, we ask him to do it.  At the February quarterly we will learn about prayer and its relationship to revival.  After the preaching, we will join together and pray for our cities.  We invite you to join us.

ABOUT KENNY PETTY

Kenny Petty

Kenny was born and raised in St. Louis and as a teenager K.P., as he was called, found himself engulfed in the drug and gang culture of the city. After two near fatal experiences and a serious run-in with the law, at age 23 Kenny heard the gospel, surrendered to God’s call and from then on K.P would never be the same. Kenny’s once insatiable appetite for all things pleasurable was exchanged for a hunger for God’s truth in the scriptures and Christian books. After a proven time, Kenny was then set apart by God and a local church for the gospel ministry. He served as youth Pastor for 6 years at New Direction Church in St. Louis city. The Lord burdened his heart to establish a Christ-centered, Elder led and doctrinally sound church that by the grace of God would reach the diverse cultural, ethnic and socio-economic peoples that make up St. Louis. Kenny is a voracious reader and has been God-trained and equipped through various other ministries that have poured into his life. KP currently serves as a pastor at the Gate Church in St. Louis. Kenny is married to Tina Petty and has one daughter named Victoria.
